facial cleanser…Beauty Courses Sydney..

By | Education | No Comments

While you study Beauty Courses with us you will learn how to look after your skin and your client’s skin. During your Diploma of Beauty Therapy we will teach you all techniques and skills so you will work confidently in salons or even home based business.
When it comes to facial cleansers, there are so many to choose from, creams, lotions, pads, soap bars, gels, scrubs and self-foaming cleansers all fill the shelves. Clearly, there’s no “one size fits all” product.

The face takes quite a beating each day. Some women cover it with makeup, and men hack away at it with razorblades. Before you can pick out the right facial cleanser for your particular needs, you need to know what kind of skin you have. Most of us never think about what type of skin we have, just that sometimes it’s more presentable than others. But everyone has a basic “skin type,” and this knowledge will help you determine what type of cleanser you need. Using the wrong cleanser for your skin type can make matters worse by further contributing to dryness, irritation or oiliness.

If you don’t know what kind of skin you have, it will be tougher to find what you need. Luckily, at Sydney College of Skin Care we have amazing Beauty Therapists to help diagnose your skin type for you.

There are mainly five types like, Normal skin which has a proper balance of moisture, oil and durability. Oily skin: Does your face look shiny, greasy or oily a few hours after washing it? Dry skin: Dry skin features facial pores that are hard to see a few hours after being washed. Sensitive skin: This skin type often feels tight or itchy, and experiences allergic reactions and flushing when put into contact with certain chemicals and Combination skin: If some parts of your face are oily while others are dry or sensitive than you know your skin type.

Now that you know your skin type you can begin narrowing down your search for a facial cleanser. Armed with the knowledge that you have, for example, combination skin, you can peruse the labels of facial cleansers and dismiss all the products designed for other skin types. If you wear lots of makeup or wear it daily, you’ll want to explore the options for facial cleansers with an eye toward makeup removal. If you work out (or work outdoors), you’ll want something that is effective at keeping your pores nice and clean, so that they don’t get clogged with sweat and grime.

Some chemicals commonly used in facial cleansers can irritate the skin. Often, it’s the chemicals involved in the cleanser’s fragrance, such as form-providing plasticizers known as phthalates, which are believed to have negative health effects on humans.

Also, it’s not always easy to find a cleanser’s fragrance that you can tolerate on a day-in-, day-out basis, no matter how effective the cleanser may be. It might be wise to treat your cleanser and your fragrance as two different things and to seek out an unscented facial cleanser, preferably an organic or eco-friendly brand, especially if you have sensitive
Ask around and see what is being used by the people you know. You can get a head start in your selection process by seeing which facial cleansers are likely will work for you or simply ask us during our Student Salon days.

We proud to run various Beauty Courses in Sydney and beyond. Please browse through our course page and ask us any question that you have. Please note that we are offering Government Funding for lot of courses and we can help you find if you are eligible.

When you walk out of here you will be full of confidence and ready to perform every duty for your work. One of duties your vital duty as a salon owner/manager could be managing your finances.

Running or managing a small business can be a challenge. Many small businesses shut down because lack of cash flow so, it becomes quite important to manage finances in order to keep it going. The first few years for any new business are crucial to its long-term success, with many challenges to overcome and lessons to be learned.

Cash flow problems and mismanaged finances are major causes of business failure in the early years. Some companies fail to plan properly, some set their sights too high or low, some don’t keep track of costs, some fail to chase payment.
Managing the finances of a small business is a multi-layered task. You need to become familiar with standard financial documents, pay attention to profits, and make the most of the business’s assets. You always have to be thinking and planning ahead.
Effective management of a small business is impossible without the right financial information on which to base decisions. A well-designed record-keeping system will provide timely and accurate financial information. It should provide warning signals when things go wrong and a glow of satisfaction when all is going well. It is both the brake and the accelerator for your business.

In the past, many small business owners have not appreciated the value of keeping good financial records. They simply kept the relevant documents such as invoices, receipts, cheques butts and bank statements and presented them to their accountant once a year to have their tax returns prepared.

The business world of the 21st Century is much more complex. The businesses that survive and prosper will be the ones with excellent management information.

In the salon financial information is very varied. It comes from many different sources, but it all go towards the growth and development of the salon financially, which then flows through the financial development of all of the staff members. The key to become successful in any business is the understanding of the financial management.

By | Education, Inspiration | No Comments

We know how it is like leaving one’s home and coming to new country and we are proud to have them study with us. International students add extra flavor and excitement to our already beautiful campus. It is always nice to see different faces sitting in the same class and mixing up well. Also, we have noticed that when our local and international students mix up during their lunch or tea breaks they try to learn about each other’s culture, customs and values. It makes our campus more colorful and beautiful. At any function or celebration in the campus it’s a display of different kinds of food, dresses and cultures.

International students are not only good for above reasons but they also inject lot of money into our economy by paying their fees. They play their part in stimulating the economy through boarding, food and bringing in overseas money for their expenses. At this stage this industry is worth in billions of Australian dollars and it creates lot of jobs for a lot of people. Also, it is ever growing industry and according to one SMH news report in 2015 the number of overseas students studying at Australian higher education providers has hit a record high, and total international student enrolments have surged by 11 per cent over the past year.

There were 433,936 international students studying in Australia on a student visa in April this year, an increase of 11.2 per cent on the same period last year. There were 216,815 international students enrolled in higher education courses, up 9 per cent on last year.

Study for international students is an ever growing industry in Australia. There are many reasons for why it is ever growing industry. Threading Course..{Beauty Courses Sydney}

By | Education | No Comments

There are many ways you can work and make money in Beauty Industry. You can simply do eye lash tinting, facials, eye lash extensions or just the nails. There is one more skill which you can gain with us is threading.

Threading is a method of hair removal originating in Asia. In more recent times it has gained popularity in Western countries, especially with a cosmetic application (particularly for removing/shaping eyebrows). In threading, a thin (cotton or polyester) thread is doubled, then twisted. It is then rolled over areas of unwanted hair, plucking the hair at the follicle level. Unlike tweezing, where single hairs are pulled out one at a time, threading can remove short lines of hair.

Advantages cited for eyebrow threading, as opposed to eyebrow waxing, are that it provides more precise control in shaping eyebrows and is gentler on the skin. It can be painful as several hairs are removed at once: however this can be minimized if it is done correctly. There are a few different techniques for threading. These include the hand method, mouth method and neck. Each technique has advantages and disadvantages; however, the mouth holding method is the fastest and most precise.

Threading allows for a more defined and precise shape and can create better definition for eyebrows. It is also used as a method of removing unwanted hair on the entire face and upper lip area. Threading is not a good method for removing hair on arms or legs, as the hair in those regions is typically quite coarse and there is too much to remove.

Threading is not part of your Diploma of Beauty Therapy; however, we are pleased to say we have fabulous trainers who run threading courses which are 2days in depth training.

We are proud to run various Beauty Courses in Sydney and beyond. We believe in quality education so that when you walk out of here you are fully confident in what you are doing Please check out our course page and call or drop us a line if you have any questions.

Eyelash and eyebrow tinting…{Beauty Courses Sydney}

By | Education, Inspiration | No Comments

Beauty industry is quite large and it has many different parts where one can work. When we teach Beauty Courses in Sydney we cover all aspects and make our students full of confidence and ready to work. Most of graduates working successfully in the industry and making good living out of it. Simple reason for that is we make you a very good Beauty Therapist so you can perform any beauty treatment with confidence. This week we covered Eyelash and eyebrow tinting.

Eyelash and eyebrow tinting is a very important part of your Diploma of Beauty therapy. It is an old treatment which is still extremely popular in salons today and one in which we perform regularly at student salon with Sydney College of Skin Care. Eyelash tinting is a process in which vegetable dye is painted onto the eyelashes. Women choose to have their eyelashes tinted to avoid wearing mascara. Eyelash tints typically take about 20 minutes to perform and last four to six weeks.

Women with very light lashes may find eyelash tinting helpful. Tinted eyelashes do not need maintenance, and they look natural without any running. However, some women have allergic reactions to the tints this is why a patch test is advised 24hours prior to doing the treatment. Despite claims to be vegetable-based, some tints have been found to contain tar and coal. There is some danger of damage to the eye, and tints can stain the skin. While home kits are available for eyelash tinting, these are more dangerous than having the procedure done in a salon which is why it is so important to have a trained professional doing the treatment for you.

Lots of girls would like to have fuller, thicker-looking eyebrows. Until now, most women with sparse, fine arches have used cosmetic powders and pencils to fill them in on a daily basis or before a night out.

You might have heard about brow tinting, but assumed that it’s only for blondes. Not true. Tinting is basically hair colouring for eyebrows. Like mascara but permanent, tinting gives colour to the hairs of the brow, which can become thin and lighter at the tips. Adding color highlights the less-visible parts, to give an altogether thicker and fuller look to the entire brow.
You can also chose the exact colour you would like your brows to be tinted, whether to match hair colour or stand out against it. The process usually includes a tweezing, anti-staining cream application, and 10 minutes of colour application. The process should be repeated every two to six weeks.

Thanks to all our lovely students who were there and learnt. We have been teaching Beauty Courses for many years and we are proud of it. Please check out our courses page and drop us a line if you have any further questions.

Thanks for the read and appreciations from Advanced Education Australia.

Customer care…Diploma of Salon Management, Leadership and Management..

By | Education | No Comments

Keeping Customers with Quality & Care

We always care about our lovely students at AEA and our focus is on quality education so that all of you get the best knowledge and walk confidently out of here when you go into workforce. During our subjects of business and management we teach about quality customer service to our students because it is a vital part of any business.

A profitable business starts and ends with the customer. By placing the customer at the center of all your thinking you create an environment, which fosters long-term success. Companies in all industries and all sizes understand that customers are perhaps their most valuable assets. Improving the overall customer experience is vital for continued success and survival and always has been.

Organizations that are successful these days focus their attention toward customer care. Whatever trends in legislation and economics may do to influence customer, a major influence will be the quality of service. Even customers who seem to accept excuses given by a service provider will remember their feelings of dissatisfaction. Good quality has become the price of competition; customers now demand it because they know they don’t have to settle for second best any more. Customers expect exceptional service and confidence, and want to avoid unnecessary visits for repeat service work.

Annoyances like dirty interior after a repair or the unwelcome smell of tobacco in a non-smoker’s car do much to send the customer to another manufacturer or repairer. Today’s customers are well aware of the cost of service and are demanding much more in their dealings with service operations. They will no return to a service provider who provides annoyances and let downs. Remember-many customers want an image that justifies the purchase decision.

By understanding customer motivations and key trends in influencing these motivations, we can direct our efforts in improving our skills that are essential in good customer relations. A magazine to read or even a cup of coffee helps to show the customer that we care, but not when coupled with unsatisfactory service.

In the subject of keeping customers with quality care we teach the crucial aspects of managing quality customer service such, as legislative requirement associated with customer service, implement a tool to monitor, adjust and review customer service and much more.

We are proud to run various Business, Beauty and Makeup courses in Sydney and beyond. Please check our courses page and contact us if you have any further questions.
