RPL…( Recognition of prior learning for Aged Care Courses)

By | Announcement, College News, Education | No Comments

Aged care is ever growing industry in Australia. There is always work available for people who have proper qualifications or someone who simply just love looking after older people. As students go through our aged care course they realize that there is a lot to learn before they go and work in Aged care industry. We always put every effort to teach each and everything so they feel confident when they walk out of here and go into work force.

In this industry, there are many people who have been working for a period of time however they do not have the proper qualifications. When some of  these people call us we suggest them that they might be eligible for the RPL if they can provide all they supportive documents. There is a proper procedure to follow if one wants to get a RPL in Aged Care.

If you google what is a RPL, the following answer will come up..

Recognition of prior learning (RPL) is defined in the AQF as follows: Recognition of prior learning is an assessment process that involves assessment of an individual’s relevant prior learning (including formal, informal and non-formal learning) to determine the credit outcomes of an individual application for credit.

Once our lovely students call us we guide them step by step and help them all the way along till they achieve their goals. If you or someone you know may like to get RPL and have all the relevant experience and documents please talk to us first. Our careers advisors are always here to help.

Thanks for the read and appreciations from Advanced Education Australia.

Beauty courses in Hornsby

Beauty Courses in Hornsby..

Hello all,

As our regular readers know that our October intake was full for Monday and Tuesday classes. We have quite a few new lovely students who started with us today for their first step towards Beauty industry. Thursday Friday classes are also almost full as well.

We are delighted to welcome these beautiful ladies to our campus for their very first day training to be beauty therapists. They can already tint eyelashes and eyebrows. Some of them were little camera shy today, which is quite understandable and that’s why not all of them in this photo. The first day at a new college with new people can be uncomfortable and sometimes it stops us doing what we love, these girls seem to have settled in nicely already.

Today is the start of a new career and a new venture in life and we hope they are able to enjoy it and will help them in every way we can along the way.

They enjoyed their first day and so did we.

At AEA we welcome them and let the fun begin from here.

Thanks for the read and appreciations from Sydney College of Skin Care/ AEA.

We love ‘Business to Business Make-up’ at AEA!

If you have ever been in the beauty industry before or done anything creatively visual involving people; chances are you have been involved in ‘Commercial’ Make-up. This can be as big as a new anchor getting made up before their broadcast to a common example of someone getting ready for a photo shoot for their business.

Either way, ‘Business to Business’ Make-up is a great niche of the multi-billion dollar (and very diverse) beauty industry. We have had students go onto achieve amazing things working with leaders and A List celebrities that makes us very proud.

One our popular courses you must explore is our “CUA51015 – Diploma of Screen and Media (Make-up)”. It teaches incredible subjects including

  • Make-up Fundamentals
  • Client Project Management
  • Special Effects Creation & Styling
  • Wig and Hair Creative Styling
  • Creative & Commercial Make-up Application
  • B2B Sales & Marketing
  • Work Health & Safety Management

This is through 16 units over our recommended 52 week time frame. A powerful course and something that we strongly recommend.

Questions, Government Funding and Enrolment:

If this sounds like you then please speak to us. Our Career Advisors can answer your questions, assess your eligibility for Government Funding and take your enrolment.

Our Sydney CBD college is a great place and you can also study online. We appreciate you sharing this article with those it can help and thank you for taking the time to read it.
