Beauty Courses in Hornsby..

By | Announcement, College News, Education | No Comments

Hello all,

As our regular readers know that our October intake was full for Monday and Tuesday classes. We have quite a few new lovely students who started with us today for their first step towards Beauty industry. Thursday Friday classes are also almost full as well.

We are delighted to welcome these beautiful ladies to our campus for their very first day training to be beauty therapists. They can already tint eyelashes and eyebrows. Some of them were little camera shy today, which is quite understandable and that’s why not all of them in this photo. The first day at a new college with new people can be uncomfortable and sometimes it stops us doing what we love, these girls seem to have settled in nicely already.

Today is the start of a new career and a new venture in life and we hope they are able to enjoy it and will help them in every way we can along the way.

They enjoyed their first day and so did we.

At AEA we welcome them and let the fun begin from here.

Thanks for the read and appreciations from Sydney College of Skin Care/ AEA.

Graduation time

By | College News, Inspiration | No Comments

It was a wonderful to see our lovely students becoming graduates. It was a wonderful night with lots of laugh, food, well dressed guests, games and some lovely speeches from some not so shy students. We also presented some awards to our very dedicated students who made every effort to achieve their goal with lot of hard work. The students of the year award was the main focus to all and it was presented to well deserving students Ayushi.

Graduation time is one of those mixed emotions times in your life when you feel relieved to have made it to the end, proud to have achieved it, tired from getting it but also excited and nervous for what’s next in your life post college.
As it’s a very proud moment, watching girls receive their Diploma of Beauty Therapy or Diploma of Marketing after a year of hard work and dedication with tears at times when it all seemed like too much but to see you dressed in your gowns and been presented with your diplomas makes it all worthwhile.

The main point you need to remember is that this is only step one, you all have a long road ahead of you with so many options. That’s the beauty of been a qualified Beauty Therapist, you have so many options available to you. Especially if you have taken your CIDESCO examination, you can now travel to over 25 countries in the world and be guaranteed to be able to work as a beauty therapist, only few qualifications allow this.

The graduation for students at Sydney College of Skin Care and it was a wonderful night. The atmosphere was pure joy and our girls were so happy in their gowns been presented with the diplomas and professional photographer to take many beautiful pictures of them with their friends and families.

It’s a night dedicated to our graduates, with full focus been on them and they all loved it. We at AEA wish them all the very best for their future.
We are very proud of the fact that we have taught thousands of students and they are all doing well in their chosen field. Please check out our courses page and drop us a line or call us if you have any further questions. Our career advisors will be only too happy to help you. Hello ladies

Thank you all so much for joining in today’s practical lesson. We started off by doing figure and body analysis which is important as it will determine your client’s needs and expectations from body treatments, it will also allow you develop a treatment plan for your client and discuss diet and exercise with them also.Diploma of Beauty Therapy is based on treating the entire body inside and out. Some people are confused when they decide to do Beauty Therapy as they feel it is all based around make-up and nails, as you have learnt and continue to learn, it is more advanced than that.

Certificate 3 and Certificate 4 in Beauty Therapy is less advanced, however, Diploma of Beauty Therapy is much more skilled.
As the day went on you ladies were all lucky enough to experience the EMS (electrical muscle stimulator) which we learnt about yesterday, we got some good results and contractions from your muscles and I was glad to see you liked the sensation.
Tomorrow will be practicing this again on other body parts. We also have student clinic starting tomorrow at 12pm, so I hope everyone has a good relaxing evening and are ready for tomorrow. Thank you for all your hard work today.

See you all tomorrow

facial Class

By | College News, Inspiration | No Comments

Hi ladies,

Many thanks for attending today’s class and practical for Provide treatments and skin care. As a Beauty Therapist, facials are a fundamental component of your course of Diploma of Beauty Therapy and also for your careers ahead. It was great that you all played a proactive role in learning and making sure that we all learnt something new and have bit of fun during the day.

When you start work in the Beauty industry, performing facials is very important in any salon. There are many salons that specialise in facials and advanced facials therefore it is vital that you have a good understanding to the skin structure and also how to do skin analysis.

Facials are very rewarding for you as a beauty therapist as you get to make changes to your client skin and they will love you for this. In your own time, practice as much as you can.
I’m sure your family members will have no problem being your model to practice on. The more you practice the more confident you will become.

Once again from Advanced Education Australia we would like to say thanks for making an effort turning up to this class. Have a wonderful Sunday.
